Refund policy

We hope you enjoy your new purchase, but if not, we will do everything we can to make it better! Receiving new dance wear is exciting, but please make note of our Return Policy before removing tags, discarding packaging, and trying items on. You can always contact us for any return question at hello@dancersclosetaustin.com.

RETURNS

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days from your purchase date to request a return. Anything after that will not be accepted. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Total amount of approved items (minus any shipping) can be refunded, used for exchange or issued as store credit.

The customer is responsible for the shipping and handling of the returned item(s). Original shipping fees are nonrefundable. Please note the tracking number if applicable.

ONLINE PURCHASE RETURNS

We accept returns with a full refund or store credit (excluding shipping) within 30 days of purchase date.

We accept returns with a full refund or store credit within 30 days of purchase date.

EXCHANGES

We will exchange sizes of any item bought within 30 days of purchase date if available or provide store credit.

TO START A RETURN

Contact us at hello@dancersclosetaustin.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return authorization form, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return authorization will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. We reserve the right to inspect and verify all damage claims once received.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Anything that smells of smoke, has stains, animal hair, has been washed/worn, or damaged by you will not be taken back. It must be in its original condition. All sales are FINAL on Final Sale Items including anything deemed CLEARANCE ITEMS, all EARRINGS, HAIR ACCESSORIES, POINTE PAD ACCESSORIES, BODY ACCESSORIES (ie. stick it, no show concealers, the like), TIGHTS, TRAINING SOCKS AND UNDERGARMENTS. THIS IS FOR HYGIENIC PURPOSES AND THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS ON THESE ITEMS. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards.

Exchanges for online purchases
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Fashion & Gifts - Due to our limited quantities per unique style in these collections, we are unable to offer exchanges. However, we will be happy to issue you a Store Credit for your return, and if the right size in the right style is available, or if another item you might have your eye on is available, you can use your store credit to purchase that item.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not.

If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
